Our Savior’s is blessed to have a Health Ministry Team of three current or former nurses among its membership: Darleen Bergeleen, Carol Scheel, and Shannon Fagerhaug. These three advise the pastor and other congregational leaders on issues related to congregational and community health. They also perform periodic blood pressure checks and advocate for over-all wellness among God’s people

In 2020, the Health Ministry Team acquired and installed an Automatic Emergency Defibrillator in the Fellowship Hall, with help from Avera Health and the Jerauld County Ministerial Association. A number of trained invdiduals in the congregation are available to make use of this device in the event of a cardiac incident.
