Community Youth Group
From 6:30 to 8:00 Wednesday evenings during the school year, youth from seventh through twelfth grades gather to eat, learn, play and enjoy one another's company. A highlight of each fall is the annual "Trick-or-Treat for the Food Pantry," in which the youth disperse throughout the community to collect nonperishable items for the Wessington Springs Food Pantry. Other service projects have included playing bingo with residents at Weskota Manor Avera, making care packages for military personnel, and lending a hand at the Springs Consignment Store. On Ash Wednesday of each year, the youth help serve a "Stone Soup Supper to raise money for their activities. for more information contact the church office.
