Women

Women were the first to announce Jesus' resurrection to the world. The women of Our Savior's continue that tradition by learning, living and proclaiming God's life-giving word in a variety of ways.

WELCA meets monthly for Bible study and service activities. Various serving groups prepare Holy Communion, attend to altar preparations, and serve meals for grieving families and for congregational fellowship.

Money raised by the women of Our Savior's go to support youth and other activities in the congregation and service projects in the community and beyond.

A quilting group meets Tuesday mornings to sew quilts that are given to high school graduates, military veterans, and people in need.

Women of the ELCA is the nationwide organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It produces Bible studies and other materials used by the women of Our Savior's. The women of Our Savior's lead an annual Thankoffering service in November, with a special offering to support that churchwide organization.

A women's bible study is ongoing.  If you would like to join bible study, contact the church office or visit with Pastor Nancy.
